Privacy Policy

This policy explains what FateX collects, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it short and in plain language on purpose.
1What we collect

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, or any data from other apps.
2Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. It is HttpOnly and cannot be read by page scripts. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.
3Who processes your data
We use a small number of service providers. They only see what they need to do their job:
- AI model provider — receives your chart data and your messages in order to generate a reading. Not given your email address.
- Stripe — processes payments and holds your card details.
- Email delivery provider — sends your login codes.
- Cloud hosting and CDN — run the site and protect it from attacks.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.
4Long-term memory
So that answers stay consistent across conversations, FateX builds a short profile of you: roughly who you are, your current situation, the conclusions it has given you, and your stated preferences. It is generated from your own chats and applied to every chart and every conversation.
You can see every line of it in My account → What I remember about you. You can delete any single line, or all of it, at any time. Deleting it does not affect your charts, points or reports.
5How long we keep it
- Account, charts, chats and memory — until you delete them or close your account.
- Payment and order records — kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require (typically 7 years).
- Login codes — deleted within minutes of use; expire after 10 minutes regardless.
- Server logs — rotated automatically, kept for days rather than months.
6Your rights
You can ask us to:
- show you a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your account and the data in it;
- export your charts, reports and chats.
Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm control of the email address on the account first.
7Security
Data is sent over HTTPS. Access to our servers is restricted to key-based login, the database is backed up daily, and admin access to user chats is logged. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will tell you.
8Children
FateX is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 without parental involvement. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
9Changes and contact
If we change this policy materially, we will update the date above and note it on the site.
